Remove the crystal before burning your wand by cutting the thread wrapped around crystal. Place your crystal somewhere meaningful.

Crystals can be charged in a window with natural light  or outside to recharge their healing power.

Safety:

Light end safely with lighter or match until wand smokes. You may need to re-light it.

Hold it over a fireproof bowl or shell to prevent burning or herbs from falling on the floor as you smudge.

Set an intention for what you want to both evoke

and release in your space/life.

Gently wave through the air and around your body.

Once the ritual is complete extinguish with running water or place the burning side down into bowl/shell (sand is recommended)

Cut or wrap any loose ends of thread this is natural as it burns down.
